About the Author
When Nande Wright was in high school in Freetown, Sierra Leone, teachers introduced the subject of the Slave Trade. She made it her mission to find out how it began. Since then, she has researched and read books by Portuguese Sailors, discovered the truth, and now explains history through fiction.
