Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2025

Patricia‘s book – Your Nonprofit”s 360WIN: How to build relationships that pay off, for everyone – is a truly practical yet insightful guide to building relationships that are beneficial for all involved. Certainly, the model and process are intuitively the right steps for a nonprofit organization. That said, the core at what she’s saying makes sense for building any type of business or organizational relationship. I’m so glad that Patricia shared her knowledge, experience, and importantly, her wisdom with all of us.

Relationship building techniques and steps that succeed!

This book, along with its techniques, steps, and examples, should be a required textbook for those studying development and aiming their careers toward helping in the Nonprofit sector. Ms. Schwartz draws on the insights of many thought leaders in her field, as well as complementary research into the psychology of giving and the creation of successful networks. She distills her 360 method from research and years of experience. This book outlines Ms. Schwartz’s straightforward steps and well-structured methodologies for creating successful collaborations between nonprofits and their supporters. This book is laid out in an easy-to-grasp step-by-step progression. I am so impressed with this book that I bought it for my nephew, who is embarking on a career in the non-profit sector.
I recommend the paperback over the Kindle version because I’m already highlighting it and I like having it easy to access with sticky notes.

Patricia Schwartz has really done her homework with this wonderful book!
Her many years of “in the trenches” experience as an insider and also as a coach in the Nonprofit field, along with her curiosity, intelligence, passion and compassion are very apparent throughout. I especially appreciated her enlightening concept of “Story Culture” and I learned a lot from her discussions of Dr. Martin Seligman’s research, Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional Uplifts and even the Pareto Principle as it applies to Nonprofits!
